Role Overview

The Global Segment Marketing Manager is instrumental in coordinating marketing initiatives by connecting Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and the Commercial Organization. This role is specifically focused on the Industrial Segment, aimed at driving growth for the core LGC Standard's Product Portfolio on a global scale while fostering market acceptance for strategic new product innovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies tailored for the industrial market segment through a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements, competitor landscape, and proposed initiatives.
  • Create compelling value propositions for the industrial segment and collaborate with Growth Marketing on various marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Management to align roadmaps with the Industrial Segment strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Insights, and Commercial Operations to categorize customer accounts effectively.
  • Generate actionable insights and work alongside Growth Marketing and Sales on targeted marketing and sales strategies.
  • Monitor global market dynamics and cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Support critical new product development initiatives and contribute to projects that enhance commercial and product execution.
  • Facilitate the creation of materials and tools to enable effective selling into targeted applications.
  • Conduct customer intelligence research and assist Commercial in various operational activities.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 years of marketing or sales experience within the Life Science sector.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A PhD is preferred, with an MBA being an advantage.
  • Proven ability to network and establish strong relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of industrial workflows and cross-product integration.
  • Strong technical acumen and collaborative skills.
  • Capability to work with product groups and regions on sales strategies.
