Business Development Representative

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and initiating relationships with potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential clients using various sources such as industry reports, online directories, and social media platforms.
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, emailing, networking, and social media outreach.
  • Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.
  • Engage with inbound leads to assess their needs and qualify them as potential business opportunities.
  • Set up meetings or calls between qualified prospects and account executives or senior salespeople.
  • Record all sales activity, lead interactions, and follow-up tasks in CRM software.
  • Track progress and update records to reflect current lead status.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product offerings.
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of calls made, emails sent, and appointments scheduled.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes, especially in prospecting and lead generation.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot; knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.
