Naples Classical Academy is an expanding public charter institution that serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Position Overview:
The communications and outreach coordinator is a salaried, exempt role with a year-round work schedule. Compensation will be determined annually based on performance metrics. This position reports directly to the school operations manager.

Key Responsibilities:
The communications and outreach coordinator engages in administrative functions across the operational and business sectors of the academy.

Marketing Management:
Oversee all marketing efforts, including advertising, media relations, public engagement, brand stewardship, and outreach initiatives.

Community Engagement and Enrollment Development:


Collaborate closely with the school leadership team to assess the necessary volume of leads and applications to achieve enrollment targets.

Execute strategies within the enrollment framework to nurture and maintain a healthy waitlist, ensuring the sustainability of the enrollment process.

Build connections with community stakeholders. Visit local businesses, community centers, preschools, and other venues to promote the academy and meet lead generation objectives.

Organize, promote, and conduct parent information sessions, school tours (both virtual and in-person), and special presentations for various community groups.

Enhance the academy's visibility in the community by participating in local events such as parades, competitions, and other promotional opportunities.

Institutional Communication and Digital Presence:
Manage the school’s website, including the event calendar, faculty pages, and news updates. Coordinate and distribute the weekly school newsletter(s). Create and publish regular social media content while overseeing all digital platforms. Any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Event Coordination:
Plan and facilitate admission events and receptions for prospective students and their families. Assist educators in organizing field trips, registrations, and logistical arrangements.

Plan, coordinate, and execute school events throughout the academic year, which may include, but are not limited to:

Open houses, curriculum nights, parent information sessions, movie nights, talent showcases, and other events as requested by the Head of School, prom, graduation, and hosted sporting events.

Fundraising Initiatives:


Plan, coordinate, promote, and execute fundraising activities throughout the year, which may include, but are not limited to: Raise Craze, Annual Golf Tournament, Annual 5K and Fun Run, Annual Gala, monthly fundraising nights with local eateries and organizations, Box Tops for Education, Amazon Smile, and other ongoing fundraising opportunities.

Volunteer Coordination:


Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise volunteers, which may include, but are not limited to: weekly volunteers for classroom projects, daily cafeteria monitors, and field trip chaperones.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee various programs during the academic year, which may include, but are not limited to: school picture days, uniform assistance programs (in collaboration with the school counselor).

Support the Parent-Teacher Council's marketing initiatives as directed by the school operations manager and Head of School. Assist with carline management as needed. Any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma.
Associate's degree in business or a related field preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Two (2) years of relevant professional experience. Experience in marketing, event planning, or communications preferred.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Email Marketing, Web Content Management, Canva, Budgeting, and Social Media platforms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors, educators, leadership, parents, and students.
Experience in creating and/or coordinating school events, fundraising activities, and volunteer programs.
