We are seeking a Fundraising Support Coordinator to become an integral part of our Chapter team in Southern Florida. This hybrid role will require close collaboration with our fundraising team, local leadership, regional teams, and volunteers to amplify the Chapter's outreach and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in realizing the vision and fundraising initiatives of JDRF.
- Provide essential administrative support to the team and help with daily operations.
- Oversee fundraising events, manage donor relationships, and provide event assistance.
- Maintain the CRM database for tracking donor and volunteer engagement.
- Support volunteer recruitment and management efforts, along with marketing activities.
- Prepare materials for board meetings and correspondence, manage office supplies, and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Stay informed about JDRF's mission and ongoing research projects.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Preferred experience of 2 years in a relevant field.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- A college degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work on weekends if necessary.
The individual in this role will be expected to handle a variety of tasks, ranging from administrative responsibilities to event coordination and fundraising activities. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
