Position Overview

The Senior 340B Program Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying and documenting eligible 340B transactions while ensuring accurate record-keeping of 340B product orders. This position is essential for maintaining compliance and readiness for audits. The analyst will spearhead process improvement initiatives and provide strategic guidance to the 340B Program team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of the Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System Database, reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the timely completion of auditing tasks and manage compliance tracking systems.
  • Organize and facilitate team meetings, setting agendas to drive productivity.
  • Evaluate the growth and enhancements of the 340B Program, providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead process improvement projects in collaboration with leadership to optimize the 340B Program.
  • Offer guidance to the 340B Program Analyst team regarding workflow and prioritization of tasks.
  • Mentor team members, identifying training and educational opportunities within and outside the 340B Program.
  • Participate in all 340B audits, ensuring thorough evaluations.
  • Perform financial assessments to support budgeting and system performance metrics.
  • Filter out non-eligible transactions, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
  • Track drug purchases and usage at the National Drug Code (NDC) level to adhere to replenishment requirements.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive database of available units for ordering, providing necessary information to buyers.
  • Engage regularly with vendors to ensure the accuracy of NDC databases in alignment with purchasing records.
  • Develop and present reports for compliance and audit purposes, including final audit findings and financial contributions.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the 340B Program is required.
  • Experience in Pharmacy Procurement is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential.
  • Prior experience with pharmacy applications such as EPIC or 340B split billing software is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities, along with solid oral and written communication skills.
