Position Overview

The role involves conducting analytical functions to support the creation and execution of new systems, the enhancement of current systems, and overseeing project management for designated special initiatives. This position coordinates programming resources for all applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Acts as a liaison between various IS teams and business stakeholders while maintaining project tracking documentation.
  2. Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the technical components of applications, alongside operational specifics, workflows, and application usage within the department.
  3. Provides analytical support for new or upgraded vendor and in-house computing systems, as well as special projects. Engages in requirements gathering and documentation processes.
  4. Contributes to the development, testing, and subsequent evaluation of system designs and projects.
  5. Assists departments with application system management tasks. Establishes a system to ensure effective security maintenance for all supported applications.
  6. Offers training and support to team members.
  7. Performs additional duties as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience or equivalent is preferred.
  • Essential skills include organizational, analytical, and self-motivation.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills are crucial for effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and internal clients.
  • Demonstrates qualities such as attention to detail, motivation, and reliability.
  • Ability to make independent decisions while collaborating within a team environment to support departmental needs.
  • Capable of managing varying workloads while adhering to deadlines.
  • Project management and application testing expertise are advantageous.
  • For applicable roles: Possesses vendor application certification/proficiency or obtains it within 12 months of employment (e.g., Epic application certification). Maintains certification/proficiency in line with vendor requirements.
