Position Summary

The Systems Application Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and facilitating the development and enhancement of various systems. This position is responsible for managing projects related to specific initiatives and coordinating programming resources across all applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as a liaison between Information Systems teams and business stakeholders, while maintaining accurate project tracking documentation.
  2. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the technical functionalities of applications, along with operational workflows and departmental usage.
  3. Conduct analytical functions to support the implementation of new or upgraded vendor and in-house computing systems, as well as special projects. Engage in requirements gathering and documentation processes.
  4. Contribute to the development, testing, and evaluation phases of system design and project initiatives.
  5. Assist departments with application system management tasks, ensuring robust security measures are in place for all supported applications.
  6. Co-lead projects associated with applications under the guidance of a supervisor or manager, and communicate technical updates to the team.
  7. Provide second and third level support, including maintenance activities, and independently resolve level 1 and level 2 support issues.
  8. Offer training and support to team members as needed.
  9. Participate in an on-call rotation and engage in project work that may require after-hours, weekend, or holiday commitments.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree along with three (3) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and self-motivational skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and internal clients.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, motivation, and reliability.
  • Ability to make independent decisions while collaborating within a team environment to support departmental goals.
  • Capable of managing fluctuating workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Project management and application testing skills are preferred.
  • For relevant positions: Possesses vendor application certification or is expected to obtain it within 12 months of hire, maintaining compliance with vendor requirements.
