Key Responsibilities:

The Radiology Service Line at Envision Healthcare operates on a national scale, delivering approximately 8 million reads annually through a dedicated team of around 600 radiologists. Utilizing our proprietary PACS platform, we leverage an AI-enabled, distributed teleradiology system.

The Senior Vice President of Regional Clinical Operations for Teleradiology will oversee both operational and clinical dimensions of the assigned service line. This role requires a Physician and Board Certified Radiologist responsible for the financial performance and service delivery of specific contracts.

Essential Duties:

  • Ensure profitability and client retention for designated hospital/system contracts.
  • Optimize provider compensation and coverage hours.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives within the service line.
  • Collaborate with finance teams for financial analysis related to clients.
  • Assist in formulating annual operational budgets and strategic goals.
  • Support Medical Directors in enhancing departmental efficiency and patient care standards.
  • Participate in the onboarding and orientation of new medical staff.
  • Engage in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.
  • Facilitate risk management initiatives to safeguard client hospitals.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • MD or DO Medical License and Board Certification in Radiology
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in teleradiology
  • Leadership experience within the teleradiology field
  • At least 10 years of experience in healthcare management with a focus on physician relations
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
