Role Overview
The Vice President of Regional Operations for Florida will collaborate closely with the Florida President and the leadership team to oversee the business functions of the Florida Division. Your responsibilities will include managing financial planning and strategic initiatives while also supervising daily operations within the leadership framework. As a pivotal leader, you will ensure that projects are executed with efficiency and uphold the highest quality standards. You will work in tandem with the Florida Division and field personnel to refine processes, optimize resources, and enhance profitability. Your strategic mindset will guide decision-making, ensuring operational excellence in the immediate term while fostering sustainable growth for the future. This role does not involve client relationship management or business development, as those duties are handled by the President.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Florida Division, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Operational Oversight: Manage all operational aspects, guaranteeing timely project delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards. Mentor and develop the Florida team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to drive profitability and maintain fiscal accountability.
- Process Optimization: Regularly assess and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize resource utilization.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure the success of projects and the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, real estate, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in commercial construction operations.
- 5+ years in a senior-level operations leadership capacity.
