Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of FP&A Solutions will play a pivotal role in leading and ensuring the success of FP&A product implementations, such as Planful and Vena, for our clients. This position encompasses business development, client relationship management, solution deployment, and the delivery of superior financial planning and analysis services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in FP&A and Close Management, including expertise in Planful, Vena, Trintech, and similar products, alongside strong leadership and team management capabilities, as well as client-facing skills to drive the growth and success of both our clients and our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the provision of exceptional FP&A services to clients, utilizing Planful and Vena to enhance financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Lead initiatives to identify and secure new client engagements centered on Planful and Vena solutions.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, comprehending their specific needs and delivering customized solutions that foster their financial success.
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate and implement financial strategies that align with their business objectives.
  • Continuously refine FP&A processes for clients, employing technology and best practices to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the deployment of Planful and Vena solutions for external clients, ensuring smooth integration and successful execution.
  • Guide and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, offering support and direction to ensure effective client service and professional growth.
  • Evaluate client financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure timely and precise financial reporting for clients, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to clients, executive leadership, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to assist client strategic planning, capital allocation, and business case evaluations.
  • Work in conjunction with the IT department and clients to guarantee seamless integration and functionality of Planful and Vena solutions.
  • Monitor and manage essential financial metrics and KPIs for clients, providing regular updates and recommendations.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences and deliver online and in-person seminars and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and Close Management.
  • Extensive expertise in Planful and/or Vena solutions, including implementation and optimization.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in managing FP&A processes for external clients.
  • Strong grasp of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations with the ability to manage your own P&L.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and securing client engagements.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with clients and across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards and practices.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.

Travel Requirement: Up to 25%
