As a hands-on leader, the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy while collaborating with market leaders to enhance retail sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate comprehensive and strategic 'go-to-market' plans that focus on initiatives aimed at achieving company objectives, enhancing revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Equip Market Sales teams with the necessary tools and resources to meet the targets outlined in the go-to-market and revenue plans, while providing management with ongoing qualitative sales forecasts.
- Advise on marketing campaigns to improve product penetration based on thorough market analysis and insights.
- Oversee the acquisition marketing, branding, and creative teams to ensure alignment in market positioning, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement strategies.
- Deliver scalable programs and campaigns supported by repeatable processes, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
- Analyze the company's business risks, competitive landscape, and industry opportunities to devise actions that address known and emerging challenges to growth.
- Develop, implement, and assess Hotwire's digital go-to-market and sales strategy, emphasizing direct-to-consumer approaches that enhance the user experience and drive sales results.
- Monitor strategies and processes throughout the revenue cycle, from customer acquisition to engagement and retention of retail relationships.
- Set sales targets aligned with the company's objective of increasing revenue and improving return on investment for each customer.
- Establish, monitor, and achieve growth objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team on future product roadmaps, ensuring consumer behavior and preferences are integrated into planning and execution.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, senior management, and key colleagues.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and emerging marketing technologies.
- Drive brand positioning, differentiation, and equity to enhance market share and brand visibility.
- Foster a culture that rewards performance, teamwork, and respect both internally and externally.
- Act as a representative for Hotwire in each market through the programs delivered, ensuring customers and consumers understand the business's value proposition by training and educating market team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and pricing strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to utilize data and insights for informed decision-making.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and consumer behavior.
