Patient Care Administrative Coordinator

Overview: This role is essential in delivering superior clerical and administrative assistance while facilitating patient care operations within the medical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule patient appointments, ensuring timely authorizations for tests, referrals, and various medical procedures.
- Handle financial reconciliations and prepare daily deposit reports.
- Be proficient in cross-training to support check-in and check-out functions as needed.
- Oversee and maintain physician schedules, including meetings and patient rounds.
- Ensure the efficient operation of the office by managing and ordering supplies while adhering to budget constraints.
- Engage in workflow reengineering and process enhancements to align with healthcare programs such as Patient-Centered Medical Home and Meaningful Use.
- Conduct audits and assist in the tracking and reporting of necessary information.
- Act as a primary user for telephone and scheduling systems.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Adhere to all compliance requirements associated with the role.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required: High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and data entry, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
Preferred: Experience with Practice Management Systems, Medical Office environments, and Hospital Scheduling.
Compensation: Salary is competitive and commensurate with years of relevant experience.
