Key Responsibilities

  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring for potential side effects.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with education and support to promote healthy behaviors and self-care.
  • Delegation and Leadership: Delegate tasks to other healthcare team members, and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • License: Current RN license in the State of Connecticut.
  • Experience: Zero to six months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certification, and other certifications as required by the unit.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 36 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
