Position Summary:

As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the financial well-being of our members by facilitating accurate payroll processing and distribution across multiple states and companies. This position involves managing inquiries and requests related to payroll, assisting the Senior Manager with audits, payroll tax communications, and various special projects. Your responsibilities will include maintaining meticulous payroll documentation, resolving complex payroll issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to payroll accuracy and excellence.
  • Build trust and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive payroll information.
  • Effectively multitask and collaborate with both the payroll team and other departments.
  • Manage payroll-related email communications, addressing inquiries from team members.
  • Deliver timely resolutions to payroll-related concerns.
  • Support the Senior Payroll Manager in sending payroll reminders and updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist with pre-payroll preparations and maintain organized files.
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for payroll processing.
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing during team members' absences.
  • Process reporting requests from auditors and other departments.
  • Download and distribute ADP invoices as required.
  • Analyze payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to gather necessary data promptly.
  • Provide general assistance to the payroll department as needed.
  • Perform additional payroll administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in high-volume, multi-state payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Basic understanding of HR, payroll, and accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate skills) and Outlook.
  • Experience in calculating bonuses, commissions, and premium pay using Excel.
  • Ability to reconcile payroll totals with preprocessing reports.
  • Familiarity with deduction management and garnishments.
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll systems.
  • Quick learner with adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information securely.
  • Professional, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of multi-jurisdiction payroll regulations is a plus.
  • Background in benefits, accounting, or HR is advantageous.
