REMOTE Position Supporting Multiple Sites in North America

The Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance will be instrumental in upholding the highest quality standards and ensuring compliance within Vida Group International.

This role encompasses the formulation and execution of quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures aimed at achieving excellence in both products and services.

The SVP of Quality Assurance will work closely with various teams to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and address risks associated with quality management.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Oversight:
Formulate and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with the organization's goals. Provide direction and support to the quality assurance team.

Quality Management Framework:

Supervise the creation, implementation, and upkeep of effective quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.


Process Enhancement:
Discover opportunities for process refinement and efficiency improvements across all departments. Apply best practices and continuous improvement strategies to elevate quality standards and minimize defects.

Regulatory Adherence:
Guarantee compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and certifications. Stay informed about regulatory changes and update quality processes as necessary.

Supplier Quality Oversight:
Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to establish and uphold robust supplier quality management processes. Ensure suppliers meet established quality criteria and specifications.

Customer Experience:
Lead initiatives to assess and enhance customer satisfaction levels. Implement feedback mechanisms and take corrective actions to resolve customer issues related to product quality.

Quality Metrics and Analysis:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality assurance and develop systems for monitoring and reporting on quality metrics. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.

Training and Skill Development:
Create training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of employees regarding quality assurance processes and procedures. Cultivate a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Risk Mitigation:
Identify potential quality-related risks and formulate strategies for risk mitigation. Proactively address quality issues to avert product recalls or service interruptions.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside other departments, including R&D, manufacturing, engineering, and customer support, to ensure alignment on quality objectives and initiatives.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Quality Management, etc.). Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ, Lean, etc.) preferred.

Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role in quality assurance or quality management, preferably in the Automotive sector.

Strong understanding of quality management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and process improvement initiatives.
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable results in quality assurance.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various manufacturing sites.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing quality-related issues.
Knowledge of relevant quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, etc.).
Familiarity with quality standards and regulations applicable to the industry (e.g., ISO 9001).
Commitment to fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Willingness to travel frequently.
