Position Overview:
As a Supplier Quality Assurance Leader, you will oversee and manage all aspects of supply quality assurance activities for ongoing and new projects within GVW Group.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead a team of dedicated Supplier Quality Engineers and Subject Matter Experts, focusing on various supplier quality initiatives including supplier selection, development, and performance enhancement.
Key Objectives:
- Drive the execution of all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and documentation, including PPAP, SPC, and Product Validation.
- Identify and address quality concerns from both internal and external customers related to existing and new products.
- Establish strategic frameworks within the supply chain to align with sourcing strategies, ensuring timely and actionable improvements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, to ensure successful product launches that meet budget and timeline expectations.
Leadership:
Build and lead cross-functional teams, set program goals, monitor execution, and drive issue resolution while keeping management informed of progress.
Compliance:
Support and uphold the requirements for the latest ISO 9001 standards and TS certification within the supply base.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply quality and supplier development, particularly in complex manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in procurement and quality processes, including supplier assessment and development.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to engage with key stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret automotive drawings and specifications.
- Experience in statistical analysis and reporting.
