POSITION SUMMARY
Janicki Industries is a pioneering aerospace firm dedicated to engineering and manufacturing intricate projects for the aerospace, defense, and space sectors.

ROLE OVERVIEW
This role is based on-site and involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the successful completion of assigned projects. The Project Engineer will engage with clients and collaborate with internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Project Engineer, you will:
  1. Collaborate closely with clients and technical teams to track progress across all project phases.
  2. Engage in design and manufacturing support through effective communication and consultation.
  3. Assist in developing project plans and procurement of necessary materials.
  4. Create and implement comprehensive project plans, managing timelines and budgets effectively.
  5. Work with client technical teams to clarify detailed requirements and deliverables, providing updates on project status.
  6. Oversee engineering tasks, including design, drafting, and preparation of work orders.
  7. Ensure that materials are organized and ready for production, including managing purchasing activities.
  8. Maintain regular interaction with the shop floor to monitor project health.
  9. Understand and fulfill all quality standards associated with projects.
  10. Manage project scope and conduct risk assessments.
  11. Track and report on the financial performance of projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will facilitate this process upon employment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline is essential.
  • Proven leadership skills are required.
  • Proficiency in CATIA and NX or similar CAD software is mandatory.
  • Experience in working with composites within a lean manufacturing setting is necessary.
  • A background in construction or architecture is advantageous but not essential.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is between $68,000 - $145,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Additional compensation may be available for off-shift work. The stated range reflects Janicki's estimate of the base salary for this role.
