Position Overview
Janicki Industries is a pioneering aerospace firm dedicated to engineering and manufacturing intricate projects for the aerospace, defense, and space sectors. We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector specializing in subsystems to enhance our dynamic workforce.

Role Responsibilities
This role is based on-site and involves various inspection duties related to our products. The Quality Assurance Inspectors are responsible for:
  • Conducting in-process and final inspections on products to ensure adherence to specifications and regulations.
  • Utilizing precision measuring instruments to validate compliance with purchase orders, drawings, and approved procedures.
  • Documenting inspection results as per the applicable inspection plan using relevant software applications.
  • Evaluating dimensional, functional, and aesthetic conformity of products.
  • Assisting project teams in understanding and following compliance requirements.
  • Recommending corrective and preventive actions related to the quality management system and materials.
  • Performing in-process audits and reporting findings in accordance with QMS procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the QMS database.

The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, effectively managing multiple deadlines while demonstrating a collaborative spirit with colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
  • Ability to maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and obtain Special Access Program (SAP) acceptance.
  • Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a highly regulated field such as aerospace, military, or medical is preferred.
  • Familiarity with wire harness defects and inspection procedures is advantageous.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

Compensation and Benefits
The wage range for this position is between $30 - $45 per hour, accompanied by a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Additional compensation may be available for off-shifts and off-site work.
