POSITION SUMMARY
Janicki Industries, a pioneering aerospace firm, is situated in a scenic location. We are currently seeking a dedicated Shuttle Bus Driver to enhance our transportation operations.

ROLE OVERVIEW
This position requires on-site presence in Hamilton, Washington State.

As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will enjoy a stable daily routine with local driving responsibilities. We welcome applications from recent graduates. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing and adjusting transport schedules according to passenger requirements.
  • Arriving at designated pick-up points ahead of scheduled departure times.
  • Maintaining compliance with passenger capacity limits, both seated and standing.
  • Avoiding congested and hazardous routes whenever feasible.
  • Documenting and reporting any accidents or incidents to your supervisor.
  • Ensuring passengers disembark at their intended destinations promptly.
  • Keeping the shuttle bus fueled, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
  • Adhering to all applicable traffic and safety regulations.

The responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive, and the individual may be required to undertake additional tasks as assigned.

It is essential for the incumbent to perform well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Demonstrating cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors is crucial.

Consistent attendance and punctuality are fundamental conditions of employment.

This role necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist in facilitating this process once employment commences.


QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.

In accordance with ITAR and EAR regulations, candidates must meet the criteria defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Candidates should possess a safety-oriented mindset, mechanical aptitude, and computer proficiency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new software systems are required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Selected candidates will undergo a driving assessment to evaluate their knowledge and skills.

The wage range for this position is between $20 and $25 per hour, along with a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Additional compensation may be available for off-shifts and off-site work.

The range provided is an estimate of the base salary for this role, with actual offers determined by job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
