Position Overview

Organization: Pastoral Center

Employment Type: Full Time (35 Hours per Week)

Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour

Role Summary:

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the operational functions of the Pastoral Center, specifically within the areas of education and evangelization. The individual will assist in various administrative tasks, including but not limited to clerical duties, extensive data management, and the preparation of educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of educational programs by assisting in the planning and coordination of courses.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, maintaining databases, and preparing reports and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate logistics for classes, including room reservations and communication with students.
  • Assist in the financial management of educational programs, including processing payments and maintaining records.
  • Respond to inquiries from students and staff, providing information and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and distribution of informational materials in multiple languages.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with database management.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Knowledge of the Catholic faith and experience in educational or religious settings is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to remain at a workstation for extended periods and to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
