Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee scheduling and coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for executives and departmental personnel.
- Prepare materials and presentations for meetings, ensuring rooms are set up as required.
- Handle the processing and completion of expense reports efficiently.
- Manage incoming calls and assist with email correspondence.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document copying, file maintenance, and updating shared files on the server.
- Assist in the coordination of interviews and welcome candidates.
- Support the planning and execution of company and departmental events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in an office or administrative capacity within a scientific organization, preferably in the biotechnology sector.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities concurrently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively to achieve results within established timelines.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with both verbal and written communication being crucial in this collaborative setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of the significance of confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of work.
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
