Corporate HR Specialist

The Corporate HR Specialist at Alphia plays a pivotal role in crafting and executing human resources strategies that are in harmony with the organization’s overarching business goals. This position encompasses a wide range of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance evaluation, benefits administration, compensation structures, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be a strategic visionary with exceptional leadership and communication capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement HR strategies that align with Alphia's business objectives.
- Support the HRIS implementation initiative, including system design, training, deployment, and change management across the organization.
- Oversee the talent acquisition framework for designated groups, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding.
- Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Design and execute compensation programs, collaborating with the Director of Benefits to establish a comprehensive compensation philosophy.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in leading the organization through Social Compliance audits for various customers.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with employees at all organizational levels.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the HR team.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
- Engage in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems and other HR technologies, particularly Workday.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the human resources field.
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies effectively.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel between Alphia facilities as required - up to 30%.
