Business Development Trainee

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
The selected candidate will work closely with the Transportation Department to manage distribution and gain exposure to day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include communication and collaboration with BIFP traders to resolve challenges in the distribution of forest products, monitoring and analyzing market trends within the forest product trading industry, networking with BIFP traders to learn about the company's business model, input orders and follow through with shipment to ensure timely delivery, call on suppliers to determine pricing strategies and orders, and attend and participate in morning market meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
High School Diploma is required along with being currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college or university. Experience in competitive sports or other highly competitive roles is considered an asset.
