Job Summary

Oklahoma Human Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Resource Family Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Child Welfare department, you will play a critical role in providing support and services to families and children in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver in-home support and social work services to families applying or approved for adoption or foster care.
  • Provide training and consultation to foster families and other placement providers.
  • Conduct family assessments and reassessments annually.
  • Review child's history and coordinate placement of children.
Requirements
  • Completion of 90 hours from an accredited college or university.
  • OR 3 years of experience related to child welfare work.
  • OR a combination of education and experience.

Salary and Benefits

  • Level I: $37,000 per year, plus full state employee benefits.
  • Level II: $40,000 per year, plus full state employee benefits.
  • Level III: $43,000 per year, plus full state employee benefits.

Additional Incentives

  • Applicants with a Master's Degree in Social Work may be eligible for a 5% salary incentive.
  • On-call positions may receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.
