Essential Qualifications

  • Specialist I: A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline, accompanied by 2 years of experience in project coordination or management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specialist II: A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline, along with 3 years of experience in project coordination or management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specialist III: A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline, plus 5 years of experience in project coordination or management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is dedicated to the creation and implementation of training programs for various projects. Collaborating closely with the Project Management team, you will oversee tasks related to the Organizational Change Management (OCM) Plan and assist technology-driven project teams with their learning and design requirements. This role is pivotal in ensuring that training initiatives and support mechanisms are in sync with project objectives and change management strategies.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Deputy Director of Organizational Change Management within the Project Management Office (PMO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and delivers educational content.
  • Facilitates initial discussions to establish learning goals and identify any gaps.
  • Engages effectively with project teams to evaluate training needs and preferred delivery methods.
  • Oversees the training strategy by analyzing training requirements and desired outcomes, identifying stakeholders and the change team, and establishing timelines to ensure objectives are met.
  • Assesses resistance, risks, and opportunities, identifies challenges, and proposes change management solutions aligned with adult learning principles.
  • Creates and revises project documentation and training reports for stakeholders and business partners.
  • Conducts surveys and gathers feedback.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Preference may be given to candidates with extensive OCM experience in complex agency-wide initiatives or those holding Agile Certification.
