Compensation Package
- Level III H23C: $43, with Full State Employee Benefits
Individuals holding a Master's Degree in Social Work will receive a salary enhancement of an additional 5%.
Positions requiring on-call duties will earn an extra bonus ranging from $100 to $150 biweekly, based on assigned responsibilities.
Essential Qualifications
Child Welfare Specialist, Level III
- A Master's degree.
- OR a Bachelor's Degree accompanied by one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
- OR Two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
All New Employees will participate in the Child Welfare Core Academy Training Program.
Post-Adoption Services provide essential support to adoptive families, including social services, medical, and financial assistance for children with special needs.
*Manage a specialized caseload focused on post-adoption services to ensure the safety and permanence of adoptive families for children with special needs.
*Conduct Adoption Assistance Annual Reviews, auditing and correcting weekly reports, and processing adoption assistance agreements and finalization packets.
Travel Requirements - Occasional travel is necessary. A valid driver's license and maintained car insurance are required. State vehicles will be available for job-related duties.
