Role Summary:

As a Public Safety Specialist III, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure atmosphere for the delivery of healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include safeguarding the dignity and rights of all individuals within our facilities, while promoting fire safety and security measures. You will be tasked with performing all duties in alignment with our Mission, Values, and Service Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of coworkers, patients, and visitors.
  • Implement fire and safety prevention strategies.
  • Complete all required training and certifications in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular safety assessments and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: Must meet or exceed the qualifications of Public Safety Officer II and complete annual Functional Job Screening.
  • Age: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Licensure: Valid State driver's license and necessary Public Safety/Security licensure.
  • Certification: Completion of a Basic 16-hour Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire.
  • Skills: Proficient in reading and writing English; must have completed relevant training in Law Enforcement or Public Safety.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: College degree.
  • Licensure: Valid local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement.
