Position Overview

Role Summary

Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Urology Sales Representative to cover the New Jersey region. This role demands proficiency in conveying intricate technical details related to urology and CAUTI Prevention. Candidates must possess relevant experience in these domains. The target healthcare professionals include, but are not limited to: chief nursing officers, infection preventionists, nursing directors, clinical coordinators, ICU managers, risk managers, materials managers, and operating room staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering impactful sales presentations on the Urology product line to various decision-makers, including Infection Prevention teams and executive nursing staff;
  • Effectively showcasing multiple product offerings and Prevention Solutions;
  • Engaging with healthcare facilities within the designated territory to drive product sales;
  • Leading customer product evaluations and implementations;
  • Providing support to Medline sales representatives through various communication channels;
  • Conducting follow-ups with customers and sales teams post-evaluation/implementation;
  • Collaborating with the division on product strategy, competitive analysis, research, and development needs, along with other assigned tasks;
  • Maintaining current business relationships while introducing new products to enhance sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of quota-driven sales experience in cold calling and full-cycle sales OR at least 5 years of relevant sales experience;

Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the medical supplies sector;
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory;
  • Strong presentation abilities and effective communication skills with sales teams and clients;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) is essential;
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and follow-up skills are required;
  • Residence within the assigned territory is mandatory;
  • Due to the nature of the role, the ability to drive and engage with healthcare providers on-site is essential.

The expected compensation for this role includes a base salary of $75,000, with additional commission potential ranging from 4-15% based on net sales growth. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Medline adheres to applicable minimum wage and salary thresholds.
