Role Summary
Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified Urology Sales Representative to serve the New Jersey region. This role demands proficiency in conveying intricate technical knowledge related to urology and CAUTI Prevention. Candidates must possess relevant experience in these fields. The role involves engaging with various healthcare professionals, including chief nursing officers, infection preventionists, directors of nursing, clinical coordinators, ICU unit directors, risk managers, materials managers, and operating room staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering impactful sales presentations on the Urology product line to diverse decision-makers, including Infection Prevention teams and C-Suite executives;
- Effectively showcasing multiple product and prevention solutions;
- Visiting healthcare facilities within the designated territory to enhance product sales;
- Leading customer product evaluations and implementations;
- Providing support to Medline sales representatives through various communication channels;
- Following up with customers and sales representatives post-evaluation and implementation;
- Collaborating with the division on product strategy, competitive analysis, research, and development needs, along with other assigned tasks;
- Maintaining existing client relationships while introducing new products to foster business growth.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree coupled with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a quota-driven environment, showcasing expertise in cold calling and full-cycle sales OR at least 5 years of similar sales experience.
Relevant Experience:
- At least 2 years of sales experience in the medical supplies sector;
- This position necessitates up to 50% travel within the assigned territory;
- Strong presentation capabilities and effective communication skills with both sales teams and clients;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) is essential;
- Exceptional organizational, planning, communication, and follow-up skills are required;
- Residence within the assigned territory is mandatory;
- Due to the nature of the role, the ability to drive and travel extensively is essential.

The anticipated compensation for this role includes a base salary of $75,000, with additional commission potential ranging from 4-15% based on net sales growth. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Medline ensures compliance with applicable minimum wage and salary thresholds.
