Role Description

Medline Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified Urology Sales Representative for the New Jersey region. This role demands proficiency in conveying complex technical information related to urology and CAUTI Prevention. Candidates must possess relevant experience in these fields. The role involves engaging with various healthcare professionals, including chief nursing officers, infection preventionists, nursing directors, clinical coordinators, ICU managers, risk managers, materials managers, and operating room staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering impactful sales presentations on the Urology product line to key decision-makers, including Infection Prevention specialists and C-Suite executives;
  • Demonstrating multiple product offerings and Prevention Solutions;
  • Visiting healthcare facilities within the designated territory to enhance product sales;
  • Overseeing customer product evaluations and implementations;
  • Providing support to Medline sales representatives through various communication channels;
  • Conducting follow-ups with customers and sales representatives post-evaluation/implementation;
  • Collaborating with the division on product strategy, competitive analysis, research, and development needs, along with other assigned tasks;
  • Maintaining existing client relationships while introducing new products to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record in quota-based sales, or at least 5 years of relevant sales experience;

Relevant Experience:

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in the medical supplies sector;
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory;
  • Strong presentation abilities and effective communication skills with both sales teams and clients;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) is essential;
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, communication, and follow-up skills are required;
  • Residence within the assigned territory is mandatory;
  • As an outside sales representative, the ability to drive and engage with healthcare providers on-site is essential.

The anticipated compensation for this role includes a base salary of $75,000, with additional commission opportunities ranging from 4-15% based on net sales growth. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Medline adheres to applicable minimum wage and salary standards.
