About the Role

CS Recruiting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Prospect for, uncover, and qualify new business opportunities in the trailer leasing space within a designated territory.
  • Relationship Building: Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel of all levels in prospective and existing major accounts.
  • Customer Service: Exemplify company values by providing exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
  • Needs Assessment: Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop a fundamental understanding of the company's service offerings, then identify and leverage compelling new business entryways for targeted outreach.
  • Value Delivery: Deliver personalized business solutions to drive value for new customer accounts and verticals.
  • Performance Objectives: Execute sales plans to meet performance objectives and exceed customer expectations.
  • Communication: Craft personal, strategic, and valuable messages that engage clients through email and during sales meetings.
  • Presentation Skills: Strategize, create, and deliver compelling, solution-focused client presentations.
  • Client Coordination: Seamlessly coordinate between clients and various internal teams to ensure a productive and smooth client experience.
  • Account Management: Serve as an imperative point of contact for customers, develop rapport, and maintain consistent communication.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high degree of professionalism, communication, cooperation, and coordination with multiple internal departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Skillfully navigate client questions and concerns, providing actionable solutions, and escalating to management where necessary.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Proactively manage personal sales pipeline and record sales activities to maintain the quality and accuracy of data in CRM.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS Degree in a relative discipline or related relevant experience.
  • Experience: 5-7+ years of sales experience in a similar function.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledgeable and experienced in trailer and/or power leasing, and is currently immersed in the trailer/chassis industry.
  • Relationship Building: Self-starter with experience establishing and building strong long-term relationships and a successful track record in revenue generation.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Problem-Solving: Persuasive nature with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Technologically savvy, demonstrating proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the Internet.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, competitive nature, and passion for selling and commitment in a high-performing sales organization.
  • Remote Work: Ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
