Job Overview

  • The Director of National Chain Accounts will be responsible for managing sales across a defined group of customer accounts, driving growth and performance through strategic initiatives.
  • This role reports to the VP of National Accounts - Retail and requires at least 40% travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive portfolio growth, leveraging in-market expertise and perspective to inform brand, product, positioning, price, and promotion decisions.
  • Retail National Accounts: Foster strong relationships with key customers, driving incremental business for priority brands and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Distributor Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Sales team to drive effective execution of distribution and programs, ensuring seamless delivery of products to customers.
  • Analytics and Business Insights: Conduct business performance and competitive analyses to inform critical decisions, tracking and reviewing results to measure progress and implement necessary changes.

Performance Metrics

  • Distribution and Volume (depletions), Operating Expense budget
  • Annual distribution goals for targeted customer universe
  • Contributing to a motivated Sales culture
  • Strong 360 feedback from distributors, accounts, cross-functional partners, and team members

  • Major market within territory with access to significant airport (US Central Territory)
