Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development/Sales professional to join our team at The Planet Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with key decision-makers across various tiers of our clients' organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate revenue and attain quota from new business development and existing clients
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Launch Consulting methodologies, case studies, and partnerships and present differentiated positioning to all levels of management
  • Develop and adhere to a sales plan for targeting and penetrating new business
  • Complete all aspects of the business development cycle including prospecting/cold calls, presentations, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and relationship development
  • Identify and pursue association memberships within the business community to promote Launch Consulting and develop business for the company
  • Work closely with active and new clients in acquiring and prioritizing client's IT requirements
  • Provide detailed requirements/information to internal employees
  • Present qualified candidates to clients and manage the hiring process
  • Utilize a CRM database in a professional, accurate, and timely manner
Necessary Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical & negotiation experience
  • Understanding of the local business environment
  • Expertise developing an IT solutions business coupled with exceptional relationship management skills
  • Proven capability in developing business for delivery of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, software and/or professional consulting services
  • Must be able to identify key decision-makers within organizations, present a clear, concise case for partnering with Launch and close business through superior customer service
  • Must be able to develop strong relationships with all levels of internal and external management and be comfortable negotiating terms of business in both fast-paced entrepreneurial and largescale organizations
Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS in Business, Management, or related field
  • 5-8+ years of business development, sales, or account management
