EquipmentShare is looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable and Credit Operations Specialist to provide essential support to the Director and their team. This dynamic and proactive individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of various financial processes and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the Director of Accounts Receivable and Credit.
  • Engage in departmental and corporate project initiatives, effectively communicating with stakeholders during project discussions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Accounts Receivable and Credit acquisition workflow.
  • Facilitate communication between credit, collections, and accounts receivable teams throughout the acquisition process.
  • Conduct reviews of departmental budgets and assist in financial forecasting.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding acquisition projects, ensuring information is shared only with authorized personnel.
  • Foster relationships with corporate acquisition teams and other key departments during acquisition activities.
  • Oversee customer rebate management and associated documentation. Organize and celebrate employee milestones to enhance team morale.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of departmental meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and record-keeping.
  • Support the department during month-end and quarter-end closing processes, providing necessary administrative and accounting assistance.
  • Collaborate with team members and department managers to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Assist with external audits by addressing inquiries as needed.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to promote effective departmental operations.
  • Process purchase orders for departmental vendors, ensuring timely payments.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in process implementation and change management.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to various Accounts Receivable and Credit roles as needed.
  • Strong organizational capabilities are essential.
  • Flexibility to prioritize tasks effectively and manage daily responsibilities.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize organizational tools, including spreadsheets and project management software.
  • Extensive customer service and project management experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Accounting experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
