EquipmentShare is on the lookout for a Fleet Operations Support Specialist to join our expanding team. This role is pivotal in providing assistance to our sales teams in relation to Used and Retail fleet sales, ensuring smooth operations throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales cycle by facilitating quotes, invoicing, and closing transactions for used and retail fleet sales.
  • Maintain regular communication with Territory Account Managers (TAMs) and national sales teams, addressing inquiries about equipment inventory and availability while preparing necessary sales documentation.
  • Assist sales teams with Rent Purchase Option (RPO) processes.
  • Generate sales quotes upon request from the sales teams.
  • Provide support to sales teams and managers during the sales process, including invoice assistance, margin calculations, and equipment payoff as required.
  • Utilize established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate record-keeping and transaction history.
  • Review and update various reports in the ES looker system as assigned.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to expedite the sales support process.
  • Manage the team inbox to address various inquiries related to the sale of new and used equipment.
  • Ensure responses align with team objectives to facilitate sales across all US markets.
  • Prepare documentation for significant fleet sales.
  • Maintain and update operational procedure documents as living documents.
  • Coordinate logistics for large equipment sales, including preparation and delivery arrangements.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in the construction industry, particularly with various types of construction equipment, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with the capability to train and cross-train colleagues.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Basic financial understanding, particularly in pricing, cost data, rental agreements, and RPO calculations.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks across various systems while maintaining attention to detail.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; prior sales experience is a plus; experience in construction is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficient in using a computer for prolonged durations.
