Role Summary

We are looking for a committed and skilled Operations Training Specialist to enhance our Learning & Development team. This role is crucial in delivering coaching and training to our payroll and operational support teams, including Payroll Specialists, Tax Specialists, and Benefit Specialists across various business sizes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing education that align with organizational objectives.
  • Create engaging training materials such as video tutorials, presentations, job aids, and assessments to support effective learning.
  • Conduct training sessions through virtual platforms, e-learning modules, and in-person workshops as required.
  • Become proficient in our learning management system, Asure University.
  • Provide coaching to both individuals and teams to reinforce learning and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, HR, Marketing, Product, and IT, to ensure training initiatives are aligned.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements as necessary.
  • Track and report on the progress of training initiatives and their outcomes to management.
  • Organize and lead year-end training sessions for payroll teams.
  • Facilitate training readiness programs for career certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years in an operations training role or similar capacity.
  • Experience in Payroll, Human Capital Management (HCM), or Human Resources training.
  • Strong skills in instructional design and content development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, Articulate 360, and/or other content creation tools, as well as CRM systems.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate an audience.
  • Analytical abilities to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with trainees and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
