Role Summary

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Operations Training Specialist to enhance our Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives. This role will focus on coaching and training our payroll and operational support teams, including Payroll Specialists, Tax Specialists, and Benefit Specialists, primarily within small to mid-sized enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement training programs for new hires and ongoing education that align with organizational objectives.
  • Create engaging training materials such as video tutorials, presentations, job aids, and assessments to support effective learning.
  • Deliver training through various formats including virtual sessions, e-learning modules, and in-person workshops as necessary.
  • Become proficient in our learning management system, Asure University.
  • Provide coaching to both individuals and teams to reinforce training concepts and improve performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Operations, HR, Marketing, Product, and IT to ensure cohesive training strategies.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements as needed.
  • Track and report on training progress and outcomes to management.
  • Organize year-end training sessions for payroll teams and facilitate readiness programs for career certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a training or operational role.
  • Experience in Payroll, Human Capital Management (HCM), or Human Resources is preferred.
  • Strong skills in instructional design and content development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, Articulate 360, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate an audience.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate training needs and effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with trainees and stakeholders.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills to handle multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
