Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Juniper Partners' philosophy and policies, as well as all applicable governmental regulations.
  • Coordinate effective communication among healthcare team members, residents, and families.
  • Maintain liaison with residents and family members to ensure their needs are met.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members to ensure a high-quality service.
  • Recruit and select competent healthcare team members.
  • Conduct ongoing supervision, training, and evaluation of healthcare team members.
  • Ensure all staff follow established safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.
  • Make written and oral reports to the Wellness Director regarding the operation of the Health and Wellness Department.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Resident Services Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate healthcare services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
  • An LVN license is required.
  • Previous management experience in healthcare or a service-related setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable governmental regulations and the physiology and psychology of the older adult is essential.
