The Custodial Training Coordinator is tasked with designing, implementing, and overseeing training initiatives for custodial staff, ensuring adherence to established cleaning and maintenance protocols for client facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct custodial staff and cleaning teams on effective job execution, including areas such as restrooms, breakrooms, lobbies, and floor care.
  • Identify training requirements for individual employees.
  • Create educational materials that convey essential information in an accessible manner.
  • Organize and manage training schedules for new hires, as well as ongoing training workshops for existing personnel.
  • Develop and distribute training manuals detailing the use of specific cleaning products.
  • Produce instructional videos, particularly for the operation of commercial-grade cleaning equipment.
  • Educate new hires on safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assess the success of training sessions through feedback surveys and employee evaluations.
  • Provide constructive performance feedback to trainees and communicate findings to management.
  • Support supervisors in employee communication and offer guidance on career advancement opportunities.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and protocols.
  • Intervene in unsafe practices by others and oneself.
  • Assist with 4INSITE training sessions.
  • Conduct safety training for supervisors and staff hotlines.
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate all training sessions.
  • Step in to cover shifts as necessary.
  • Submit weekly reports to the Account Director and Director of Operations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources, along with one to two years of custodial experience and training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of custodial cleaning practices.
  • Strong grasp of safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with the ability to adjust hours to accommodate all shifts.
