About the Role

As a key player in our Field Sales organization, our Account Executives play a crucial role in driving incremental add-on business into strategic named accounts. We're looking for a seasoned sales professional to join our team and help us craft relevant solutions that deliver long-lasting value to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling via deal management
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Drive strategic add-on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise customers
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Workday's internal teams (pre-sales, digital, value & bid-management, marketing, technical and sales support)
About You

We're looking for a sales professional with a strong track record of success in selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position. You should have experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities and building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business.

Additionally, you should have experience developing long-term account strategies with existing customers and managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months with large deal sizes. You should also have a strong understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry and be able to effectively position Workday solutions within accounts.

We're looking for someone who is a team player, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and is able to leverage and partner with internal team members on account strategies.
