Role Summary: This role involves facilitating the integration of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) specific requirements within the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Supply Chain Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital member of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Management Team, assisting acquisition managers and SCM/FMS stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Product Support Manager to develop initial spare parts packages and maintain supply chain operations to align with the operational objectives of SCM/FMS clients.
  • Engage in all aspects of integrated logistics support and planning throughout the F-35 weapon system lifecycle.
  • Participate in design evaluations, configuration management board meetings, and provisioning and training plan discussions.
  • Support the creation and coordination of Supply Support Management Plans (SSMPs) with relevant US Services and SCM/FMS partners.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and justification of procurement and repair budgets.
  • Oversee the timely and quality delivery of ILS component inputs and assess logistics supply support capabilities.
  • Participate in Logistics Review Group (LRG) audits related to supply support as required.
  • Monitor repair programs for assigned weapon system components to enhance fleet readiness and meet Command objectives for SCM/FMS clients.
  • Integrate SCM/FMS client requirements with JSF Autonomic Logistics planning and development.
  • Analyze readiness metrics and other key performance indicators from various sources to identify trends and potential issues, coordinating actions with responsible personnel to resolve these challenges for SCM/FMS clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense initiatives, especially those involving international partners.
  • Experience in acquisition logistics.
  • Proficient in applying ILS Management principles and methodologies to complex logistics projects.
  • Understanding of system acquisition principles, policies, and practices to effectively plan and coordinate critical aspects of system development, production, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of the equipment life-cycle phases and associated documentation, analyses, and reviews.
  • Ability to deliver compelling oral and written presentations to various levels of government and industry management.
  • Capability to interpret federal laws and Department of Defense regulations related to acquisition, logistics, and foreign military sales.
  • Possession of a Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for Special Access Required (SAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong briefing and interpersonal skills are highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the continental United States and internationally to various government and contractor sites.
