Supply Chain Specialist
We are seeking dedicated Supply Chain Specialists to become part of our Texas Health family.

Full-Time: Day Shift (includes one weekend shift per month)

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of experience in materials management.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of experience in supply chain or warehouse operations.
  • Preferred: One (1) year of customer service experience.

Essential Skills:
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive standards.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage, reading, and writing.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of handling moderately complex requests through effective research.

Key Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Specialist will perform various warehouse and storeroom duties, including:
  • Accurate receipt of goods and services into the designated system.
  • Daily stocking of shelves and inventory items with incoming goods.
  • Timely delivery of non-stock items to the requesting departments.
  • Pulling and delivering daily inventory orders and backorder releases.
  • Counting and refilling daily par-level areas.
  • Assisting with the return of items to vendors and managing shipments of repairs.
  • Ensuring same-day delivery of items upon arrival.
  • Managing overnight or expedited requests efficiently.
  • Correctly placing items in designated bin locations.
  • Inspecting all items and documenting any damaged goods for immediate reporting.
  • Maintaining the integrity of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensuring continuous availability of supplies for clinical and support departments.
  • Documenting all returns and repairs accurately.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the automated inventory system.
  • Removing expired supplies and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the storeroom.
  • Answering inquiries and assisting departments with various requests.
  • Collaborating with clinical areas to review supply levels and address routine issues.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
