Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Asset Management team, you will engage in various activities to support our client's asset portfolios, ensuring accountability for government property acquired by the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP).

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting the government team lead in overseeing and managing the Asset Management Program, including the development and implementation of logistics automation systems and tools for supply chain, maintenance, and asset management.
  • Supporting the annual federal inventory reporting and accounting processes.
  • Coordinating and conducting physical inventories at designated locations as directed by the government.
  • Generating discrepancy reports to aid in the annual financial statements reporting.
  • Assisting in enterprise asset management accountability and asset identification initiatives.
Additional duties may encompass:
  • Managing asset portfolios throughout the acquisition, maintenance, and disposition phases.
  • Serving as a Local Property Officer and Inventory Taker.
  • Conducting Self-Governance Audits and Annual Physical Inventories.
  • Monitoring and updating the Management Action Plan status.
  • Facilitating asset transfers and coordinating transactions with USBP sectors/stations.
  • Collaborating with external partners on asset management issues.
  • Participating in Quality Assurance Reviews by relevant authorities.
  • Providing general warehouse management and conducting property acceptance during installations.
  • Shipping and receiving property, including packaging and transportation coordination.
  • Managing project close-outs and asset disposals.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field with 10+ years of experience in property and asset management; or a Bachelor's degree in a similar discipline with 18+ years of experience.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including various verifications.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45 related to federal personal property management.
  • Experience with asset management systems such as SAP and Maximo is preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
