Supply Chain Specialist

Join our dedicated team as a Supply Chain Specialist at Texas Health Resources.

Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Specialist plays a crucial role in managing various warehouse and storeroom operations, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive and document goods and services into the appropriate systems.
  • Ensure daily stocking of shelves and inventory items with incoming supplies.
  • Facilitate timely delivery of non-stock items to the relevant departments.
  • Manage daily inventory orders and backorder releases, ensuring they are delivered promptly.
  • Conduct regular counts and refills of par-level areas.
  • Assist in returning items to vendors and managing shipments for repairs.
  • Deliver items on the same day they arrive and manage expedited requests efficiently.
  • Inspect all items for damage and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the storeroom and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support the removal of expired supplies and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Engage with clinical areas to address supply issues and par level reviews.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in materials management, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  • Preferred: One year of customer service experience.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to meet time standards and deadlines.
  • Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Capability to perform research for resolving moderately complex requests.
