Customer Service Specialist,

In this role, you will collaborate with a supportive team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a positive first impression of our practice.
  • Handle front office tasks, including managing phone calls, checking mail, and communicating with patients and insurance providers.
  • Utilize dental software for scheduling and maintaining patient records.
  • Coordinate and confirm appointments for multiple practitioners.
  • Process patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verifying benefits and explaining coverage.
  • Record insurance and patient payments and manage accounts receivable.
  • Discuss treatment plan costs and payment options with patients.
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to implement best practices and optimize office efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with handling sensitive information and adherence to privacy regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
  • Experience with dental software.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Availability for periodic training sessions, either virtual or in-person.
