Overview of the Position:

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is seeking a talented Lead Competitive Insights Strategist to become a vital part of our dynamic Strategy team.

In this position, you will deliver competitive analysis and enablement through a comprehensive understanding of our competitive landscape and market dynamics. You will serve as a key advisor on industry trends and competitive shifts, assessing their implications for Siemens' strategic direction.

This role is highly visible within the organization, requiring you to prepare and present competitive insights along with actionable recommendations to various management levels, including senior executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate a well-supported perspective, grounded in data, on how market positioning and competitive actions influence Siemens' strategic initiatives.
  • Offer insights into our competitive advantages and strategies for success in the current market landscape.
  • Analyze market and competitor ecosystems to identify strategic implications and growth opportunities, focusing on emerging technologies and macro trends.
  • Maintain an external perspective on market dynamics.
  • Lead and evaluate initiatives that advance the culture of Competitive Intelligence within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong grasp of software, including various business and deployment models, as well as technology trends.
  • Familiarity with PLM and/or EDA software products and their respective markets.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, effective in various formats such as emails, presentations, and competitive materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced market environment.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment:

Limited travel may be required.
