About the Role

Milestones is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Analyst Assistant to join our team of professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in applying the principles of behavior analysis to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities or other educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze problem behavior procedures for all students in their classroom, ensuring effective implementation and consistency.
  • Review and analyze reinforcement systems, including staff training and adherence to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans, working closely with staff to ensure accurate and consistent implementation.
  • Provide solutions to address concerns and carry out action plans through the Problematic Behavior Process (PPT) as needed.
  • Assist Behavior Analysts in writing and updating behavior plans through the PPT process.
  • Create and maintain student write-ups, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Review and analyze student graphs, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing solutions to address concerns.
  • Provide initial training in basic principles of behavior analysis to staff, including supervision and support for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Apply behavior analytic strategies to improve staff performance and overall program effectiveness.
  • Participate in staff evaluation processes, working closely with supervising BCBA to ensure accurate and fair assessments.
  • Collect Interobserver Agreement (IOA) data, identifying areas for improvement and providing solutions to address concerns.
  • Participate in student program reviews, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Participate in student home programming, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Graph data for one student and analyze other data/graphs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Substitute for SPED teachers when necessary, ensuring continuity of services and support.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures, prioritizing the well-being and safety of students and staff.
  • Remain flexible to meet the needs of classrooms and provide a variety of support as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with students and staff, upholding the highest standards of behavior and conduct.
Requirements
  • Hold and maintain Board certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst.
  • Meet all supervision requirements as specified by the BACB.
  • Have 2 years of experience providing behavior analytic services to individuals with autism or other developmental delays, preferred.
  • Excellent professional, leadership, organizational, and communication skills, both written and oral.
