Overview of the Position:

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Lead Competitive Analyst to become a vital part of our dynamic Strategy team.

In this capacity, you will deliver competitive intelligence and enablement through a comprehensive understanding of our competitive landscape and market dynamics. Your role will involve advising on trends and competitive activities, including their implications for Siemens' strategic direction.

This position offers significant visibility within the organization, requiring you to prepare and present competitive analyses with actionable recommendations to various management levels, including senior executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate a well-supported perspective, grounded in data, on how market positioning and competitive actions influence Siemens' strategic initiatives.
  • Provide insights into our competitive standing and strategies for success in the current market landscape.
  • Analyze market and competitor ecosystems to identify strategic implications and growth opportunities, including emerging technologies and macro trends.
  • Maintain an external perspective on market dynamics.
  • Lead and evaluate initiatives that advance the culture of Competitive Intelligence within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong grasp of software, including various business and deployment models, as well as technology trends.
  • Familiarity with PLM and/or EDA software products and their respective markets.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, applicable in emails, competitive materials, presentations, and more.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to the fast-paced nature of the market and the intelligence function.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment:

Limited travel may be necessary.

The salary range for this position is competitive and includes eligibility for incentive compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's work location and other relevant factors, including skills, experience, and education.
