Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Biopharma Market Development Manager to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our presence in the East Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or Exceed Sales Targets: Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for Waters products in the East Region.
  • Grow Installed Base: Focus on replacing existing customers and taking market share through targeted sales efforts.
  • Develop New Prospects: Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, application areas, and competitive information to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Provide Business Insights: Share business insights and market intelligence with the sales team and other stakeholders to inform business decisions.
  • Manage Sales Performance: Supervise and manage sales performance to ensure accuracy and meet business objectives.
  • Develop Business Plans: Develop and execute business plans to drive growth and expansion in the East Region.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, Master's, or PhD in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
