Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Analyze Problem Behavior Procedures: Review and analyze problem behavior procedures for all students in their classroom, ensuring that they are implemented correctly and consistently.
  • Review and Analyze Reinforcement Board Systems: Review and analyze reinforcement board systems, ensuring that staff are implementing systems correctly and consistently.
  • Review and Analyze Behavior Intervention Plans: Review and analyze behavior intervention plans, ensuring that staff are implementing BIPs correctly and consistently.
  • Provide Solutions and Carry Out Action Plans: Provide potential solutions to appropriate staff and carry out action plans to address concerns through the PPT process if necessary.
  • Assist Behavior Analysts in Writing and Updating Behavior Plans: Assist Behavior Analysts in writing and updating behavior plans as necessary through the PPT process.
  • Create and Maintain Student Write-Ups: Create and maintain student write-ups, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Review and Analyze Student Graphs: Review and analyze student graphs, including content and format, and alert SPED/BA's if progress concerns arise and provide potential solutions/carry out action plans.
  • Provide Initial Training in Basic Principles of Behavior Analysis: Provide initial training in basic principles of behavior analysis to all staff, including supervision to RBT's, and alert SPED/BA's if training concerns arise and provide potential solutions/carry out action plans.
  • Apply Behavior Analytic Strategies to Improve Staff Performance: Apply behavior analytic strategies to improve staff performance, ensuring that they are implementing systems correctly and consistently.
  • Participate in Staff Evaluation Process: Participate in staff evaluation process in conjunction with supervising BCBA.
  • Collect IOA Data: Collect IOA data, including if IOA data suggests a concern, alert SPED/BA's, provide potential solutions, and carry out action plans.
  • Participate in Student Program Reviews: Participate in student program reviews, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Participate in Student Home Programming: Participate in student home programming when applicable.
  • Graph for One Student and Analyze Other Data/Graphs: Graph for one student and analyze other data/graphs added.
  • Be Out of Rotation for 3 Hours per Week: Be out of rotation for 3 hours per week to review current systems, take IOA, assist with crisis management and emergency procedures.
  • Substitute When SPED Teacher is Out of Classroom: Substitute when SPED teacher is out of classroom.
  • Comply with All Safety Policies and Procedures: Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Remain Flexible to the Needs of Classrooms: Remain flexible to the needs of classrooms and provide a variety of support as needed.
  • Maintain Professionalism with Students and Staff: Maintain professionalism with students and staff.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Hold and Maintain Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst: Hold and maintain Board certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst.
  • Meet All Supervision Requirements: Meet all supervision requirements as specified by the BACB.
  • Have 2 Years-Experience Providing Behavior Analytic Services: Have 2 years-experience providing behavior analytic services to individuals with autism or other developmental delays preferred.
  • Excellent Professional, Leadership, Organization, and Communication Skills: Excellent professional, leadership, organization, and communication skills (both written and oral).
